Chaos;Child‘s a murder-mystery Visual Novel and part of the Science Adventure series (Chaos;Head, Steins;Gate, Robotics;Notes). The English version is available for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita.

Please refrain from stealing (parts of) my guides. I put a lot of effort and time into writing this and don’t want to see other people copying it and claiming it as their own work! It happened with my Akiba’s Beat trophy guide, that’s why I’m putting this here. Please ask for permission if you want to use my guide for something.

Feel free to share the link to my guide!

If you find any mistakes or errors or if you want to contribute something, you can either write a comment or contact me on Twitter. I’ll try to reply as soon as I can.

Danganronpa V3: Killing Harmony is the latest entry in the popular Danganronpa series. It’s available for PlayStation 4, PlayStation Vita and Steam.

This is a trophy guide, explaining what you have to do in order to unlock every trophy. I won’t write a complete walkthrough but if you have any questions about the game I’ll try my best to answer them.

Please note that this guide contains spoiler. I tried to avoid mentioning (item) names and terms that are considered big spoiler but it’s not possible to keep everything completely spoiler free.

Some trophies are missable!

It takes around 40-50 hours to complete the main story and 30+ hours for the extra content

Update October 13, 2017: Added some boss strategies to Monokuma’s Test. Added a tip to Fisher King

Update October 15, 2017: Fixed some words and sentences. Added card (effects) and where you get them, to the Ultimate Talent Plan. Added enemy weaknesses, some boss strategies, optional bosses and did some other changes to Monokuma’s Test

Update October 18, 2017: Added an useful method for earning the Masterful Development trophy. Added Zeal and Wind Barrier to skill explanation, mentioned that Ultra Defense doesn’t have to be MAX level to be useful against the hidden boss

Update October 20, 2017: Fixed a boss name, fixed incorrect date ticket choices and added the missing Harmonious Heart events

More Death Games for everyone! Err…no that’s not how I wanted to start this blog post. Anyway, I’m back with yet another game related project. It’s about a Japan only PlayStation Vita/PlayStation 4 visual novel called Tsuihou Senkyo (Exile Election) developed by Nippon Ichi. If you are into games like Danganronpa you have probably heard about this one before because it definitely borrows more than just some ideas from it.

I’m writing about Exile Election on Twitter but I realized it’s not the best place for it because of the annoying character limit. Well, I only planned to do some livetweeting but somehow ended up writing way to much. Now it’s more like a mix of translation and detailed summary. So I decided to put the complete version of the text into a series of blog posts. I’m sure there are some people interested in reading this!

Akiba’s Beat’s a JRPG for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita developed by Acquire and localized by XSEED (NA) / PQube (EU). It’s part of the Akiba’s series but has nothing to do with the prequel (or the anime) other than taking place in Akihabara and dealing with otaku culture. For more information about the game or to buy the EU-version visit this site: Rice Digital

This is a trophy guide, explaining what you have to do in order to unlock every trophy. I won’t write a complete walkthrough but if you have any questions about the game I’ll try my best to answer them.

There’s more than one difficulty level but it doesn’t affect trophies. You can play through the game on Easy and still get everything.

It’s possible to collect all trophies in one playthrough. There aren’t any missable trophies.

It takes around 60-80 hours to unlock the platinum trophy (depending on which difficulty level you play on)

Some tips:

Always stock up on Parfum and Escape Keys because you will need them A LOT. You can buy them at any item shop (except vending machines).

Sometimes the game forces you to play as other characters than Asahi so it’s better to try out different characters and get used to them.

If you obtain ingots, sell them. There’s no reason in collecting them and you can only carry 20 of them with you.

Since I saw people asking about it on other sites: In Chapter 13, when the game tells you to look for Mizuki, you find him at the end of the Hideout Delusionscape.

Update October 06, 2017: Apparently you don’t have to beat the game in order to get access to Mikè’s sub event and the bonus dungeon. I deleted the parts in questions. Thanks for pointing it out, Matthew!

20160516caligula08_thumb

tfw Hatsune Miku kidnaps you and 500 other people, traps all of you in her ideal virtual world and brainwashes you into liking her because she doesn’t already have enough crazy fans.

Oh wait…that’s not how the story goes. Anyway, the Caligula I want to talk about isn’t some merciless Roman Emperor but a…..*gasp* PS Vita game. Sounds like this one could be a brutal game including blood and sex going by the title but it’s nothing like that. The developer named it Caligula because they wanted attention and thought the name sounds cool! Just kidding lol. It’s more about the so-called Caligula effect, being tempted to do something prohibited. Breaking taboos.

The premise sounds pretty interesting and to top that off the developer got the Persona 2 writer on board.
