First of all, reaching all endings in Steins;Gate 0’s far easier than in Steins;Gate because you only have to pay attention to some phone calls. There are two main routes and six endings altogether and it’s possible to see everything in a single playthrough (including unlocking the platinum trophy). This walkthrough contains an ending overview and a 100% playthrough.

Update: Thank you for your feedback and pointing out mistakes/things I forgot to mention. I did some changes to the guide and hope you will be able to reach everything without encountering any problems now.

Recommended route order:
Gehenna’s Stigma (Bad ED) or Twin Automata (Maho ED) ➔ Recursive Mother Goose (Kagari ED) ➔ The Promised Rinascimento (“Kurisu” ED) ➔ Vega and Altair (Mayuri ED) ➔ Milky-way Crossing (True ED)

Ending Overview
Here’s an overview with the necessary steps on how to reach each ending.
Gehenna’s Stigma (Bad ED)
[Closed Epigraph] (12/15 Wed) Shrine – Don’t turn your phone off
[Pandora’s Box] (1/23 Sun) In front of Daru – Answer the phone call from AMADEUS
Twin Automata (Maho ED)
[Closed Epigraph] (12/15 Wed) Shrine – Turn your phone off
[The Orbital Eclipse] (1/2 Sun) Labo – Ignore the phone call from AMADEUS
Recursive Mother Goose (Kagari ED)
[Closed Epigraph] (12/15 Wed) Shrine – Turn your phone off
[The Orbital Eclipse] (1/2 Sun) Labo – Answer the phone call from AMADEUS
[Anitomic Dual] (1/15 Sat) Labo – Ignore the phone call
The Promised Rinascimento (“Kurisu” ED)
[Closed Epigraph] (12/15 Wed) Shrine – Turn your phone off
[The Orbital Eclipse] (1/2 Sun) Labo – Answer the phone call from AMADEUS
[Anitomic Dual] (1/15 Sat) Labo – Answer the phone call right away
This ED unlocks the Milky-way Crossing (True ED) route
Don’t forget to overwrite the system data, when you are asked to do so.
Vega and Altair (Mayuri ED)
[Closed Epigraph] (12/15 WED) Shrine – Don’t turn your phone off
[Pandora’s Box] (1/23 Sun) In front of Daru – Ignore the phone call from AMADEUS
Milky-way Crossing (True ED)
Unlocks after seeing The Promised Rinascimento (“Kurisu” ED)
Either start a new game or use a save from before [Closed Epigraph] (12/15 Wed)
Don’t use a later save because you receive a RINE message at [Closed Epigraph] (12/15 Wed) shortly after the shrine scene which’s important for the true end.
Follow the steps on how to reach Vega and Altair (Mayuri ED) and the true end will happen immediately after Mayuri’s ED. Don’t skip the credits!

Walkthrough (100% Playthrough)
This walkthrough uses the route order Twin Automata – Recursive Mother Goose – The Promised Rinascimento – Gehenna’s Stigma – Vega and Altair – Milky-way Crossing. If you’re wondering why this route order’s slightly different from the one I recommended: I put Gehenna’s Stigma after The Promised Rinascimento to make the walkthrough less confusing. It’s on the same main route as Vega and Altair but on a different main route than the first three endings.
You can do whatever you want with the RINE messages. No matter what you reply, it doesn’t have any effect on the endings and there aren’t any TIPS hidden in the replies. That’s why I only mention the time a RINE messages arrives. Same goes for most phone calls. Sometimes the game even automatically answer’s the phone if you ignore it. The important phone calls and other significant things are written in red!
Skip stops at some fixed points (phone call, RINE message) and the game auto saves each time. Make use of it, if you need to.
Don’t forget to save your system data after seeing an ending. The game asks you if you want to overwrite the system data or not.
Note: Seems like the patch messed up the order of Tips for some people, like TIP 99 suddenly being 100. This guide’s using the old order.

Sorry, but I have to do to reach the Kurisu’s route?
I don’t understand this guide, I got the Bad End and now I want the Kurisu’s one to reach the True End
Thanks
No problem, I’ll try to explain it more clearly.
You have to get on the other main route. In order to do so either start a new game or load a save that’s in (or before) chapter Closed Epigraph (12/15 Wed). Once you get to the scene at the shrine where Okabe wonders if he should turn off his phone, do it. In chapter The Orbital Eclipse (1/2 Sun) answer the call from Amadeus when you are in Labo. In chapter Anitomic Dual (1/15 Sat) answer the phone call that happens in Labo.
That’s all you have to do to reach Kurisu’s route.
Thanks for the help!!!! :DD
I reached it! Thanks!! 😀
Great!
too reach Kurisu’s rout you have too answer it BEFORE the game forces you too answer it (this might not be clear if you played Kagari’s Route before and irritated me quite a bit)
Sorry, I thought ‘answer’ or ‘ignore’ a phone call would be clear enough. I can add it to the guide that you have to answer the phone asap.
that’s the easiest game from “Steins;Gate” franchise, hundreds of saves are not necessary, getting through all messages nor finding some hidden CGs.
Really quick and easy novel.
Yup, there are only very few things you have to pay attention to to reach all endings and collect all TIPS. Other than that it’s pretty straightforward.
I am confused on how to reach the true ending. I have completed all the endings except true ending. I just went through the Vega and Altair chapter again by loading save data 4, however i ended up with mayuri’s ending again instead of the true ending. Could u please explain to me on how to get to the true ending?
That’s weird.
Did you get the message that the D-Mail has been send at the end of Kurisu’s ED (after the credits)? And did the game save the system data afterwards? If that, for some reason, didn’t happen then skip through the route once again.
If you play through Mayuri’s route after triggering the true end flag, the game continues after that with some new scenes.
I hope that helps
I have just found out my tips are bugged, I think there is a bug in the game. I have all tips and re read them, but still it says in the “clear list” that’s it’s 204/205. I have honestly tried everything except deleting the game and downloading it again in order to get the true ending ( I keep getting mayuris ending, eventho I have completed all other endings. Cannot get the true ending). This is stupid and ridiculous
Oh wow, that sucks. I played through the game without any problems and didn’t encounter any bugs.
I just took a look at the publisher’s Twitter but don’t see any complains regarding this. Could have been caused by one of the patches but that doesn’t seem to be the case.
If nothing else works, it’s either a problem with the game or the saves. Fortunately, it doesn’t take that long to skip through everything again but it’s still annoying. I hope you will be able to fix the issue somehow and reach the true end!
You probably have figured it out or have looked this up but anyway here..
Don’t skip the credits after Mayuri’s ending, and then the true ending will start.
I have now 100% completed the game. I had to delete the save data and try again. I think the reason why I couldn’t get the true ending is because I finished mayuris ending first or I finished mayuris ending before kaguri’s ending ( my first blind playthrough the game I finished mayuris ending).
Another thing to add to the guide is the tip 99.Closed epigraph- (12/5 sun), ignore amadeus call, u get tip.99 Macdyver from this. If u accept the call then the only difference is the dialogue.
Good to hear, that you could reach the True ED now! But that’s still really weird because it shouldn’t matter if you see Mayuri’s ED before triggering the true end flag. I haven’t tried it myself but I heard it from other people. It must really be some kind of bug. Should probably give it a try to see if I end up with the same issue.
Thanks for the information about tip 99. It’s definitely missable! I even wrote it in my notes I took while playing the game but kinda forgot to write it in the actual guide. Added it to the guide just now! Thank you for pointing it out!
I had a similar issue to soul620 where the true end would not trigger after Mayu’s route in spite of having sent the d-rine in Kurisu’s end.
You receive the d-rine shortly after the choice on 12/15 so if you re-use an old save from after this moment then you will keep getting stuck at Mayu’s end.
Ah, that’s the reason it doesn’t work. Didn’t think about that. Thanks! Will put a warning in my guide!
I just got the platinum!!!
Thanks for all the help, great VN 🙂
El. Psy. Congroo.
Yay, congratz! Yeah, it’s a great VN. Even better than the first Steins;Gate imo!
Hey, brilliant guide. I’m missing TIP 99 and I don’t know where to find it. I’ve essentially 100% cleared the rest of the game but 99 is all that’s left. Would you know where that tip is?
thx! Ah, sorry. Someone else just pointed out that I forgot to mention that in my guide. TIP 99’s missable.
It’s (12/5 Sun) Labo – phone call from AMADEUS
You have to ignore the phone call to get some slightly different dialogue which includes the TIP 99 ‘Macdyver’.
I’ll add it to the guide asap, so that no one else will miss it.
you should really go to stigma first for a specific reason
then go finish presige and recognize before tackling Stray sheep
marathoning Rinascimento and then Vega consequently is the best thing in Zero!
I looked at various JP sites for a recommended route order and did my playthrough according to that. Since it worked just fine for me I used the same recommended route order for this guide. I think both Stigma and Automata make a good first ending.
I just put Stigma at a different part in the 100% playthrough to make the walkthrough less confusing. Would be weird to first enter one main route for a single ending just to go way back to the other main route and later return to the first one.
But thanks for your advise/opinion!
Thanks for the guide ! Really help ! I alreadt finish it but .. still not understand the true end , i mean after vega and altair and then the true end with a few scene ? Or there’s more ?? Someone tell me T_T
If you play through Vega and Altair, after meeting the necessary requirements (finishing Rinascimento), the story continues after Mayuri’s end which’s the true end route.
If you are unsure if you got the true end you can check the ending list in the main menu. You also get a trophy for reaching the true end, should be called Milky-way Crossing iirc.
You should read carefully in Rinascimento and Vega
Also read other sources
The True End even is just like a few extra scenes is far more deep and far more meaningful than anyone can imagine (even the title “Milky Way Crossing”)
Wow, how come a reached both Mayuri and True endings, one after another? Now I’m not sure what happened, is it even possible?
Yup, that’s how it should be. If you meet the necessary requirements for unlocking the true ending and play through Mayuri’s route afterwards, the game won’t stop at her ending but continues with the story.
I feel stupid but what do you mean by turn cell off? Because @ maho end you cannot ignore christinas call no matter what at the shrine or am I missing something?
Turn the power of your phone off in chapter Closed Epigraph (12/15 Wed) at the shrine. Okabe should mention it, take out your phone as soon as that happens and it’s displayed on the display with ‘yes’ and ‘no’. You have to choose ‘yes’.
I’m starting anatomic dual and I want to clarify something before I get to this point, do I just need to reach the kurisu ed to make the mayuri ed lead into the true ed?
Yes, only the Kurisu ending’s important for that. The Maho and Kagari ending don’t matter.
There’s one more thing which’s mentioned in the ending overview in this guide. You will get a RINE message after finishing Kurisu’s ending which happens in Closed Epigraph (12/15).
If you already played through the bad end or Mayuri’s end before that, you can’t use a save from there to reach the true end because you have to see said RINE message first.
Ok thanks, I’m doing the promised rinascimento route right now. What do you mean where you say don’t forget to overwrite system data?
Each time after playing through the game, you are asked to save your system data. No one would really cancel that but I still mentioned it just in case.
Oh ok I see. Thanks a lot for the guide and quick replies! I’m going for the platinum on my ps4 and I just have the bad ED and true ED left to go now. So far I think I like this one a bit more than the first VN, the different endings are a bit more interesting. Can’t wait to get the true ED and watch the anime when it’s out!
You should probably explain that you reach the true Ending after Vega and Altair if you have the D-Rine sent. For those of us that played without the guide.
I tried at least 3 times since I played everything before without guide. Everytime I reached Vega and Altair I thought that something didn’t trigger and loaded an old save to try again.
That part somehow got deleted without me noticing, after I did some changes to the ending overview yesterday. I intended to make things clearer…not more confusing.
Sorry about that and thanks for mentioning it. I’ll add it back in asap!
Thanks for the guide! I just completed my first blind playthrough (and got Gehenna’s Stigma, because my superpower is to always get the bad ending first when playing games) and this’ll do very nicely for doing everything else, it’s exactly the sort of concise walkthrough I was looking for.
You’re welcome!
Congrats on getting your first ending! It’s the one people most likely end up with on their first playthrough without using a guide.
Awesome guide. Though *spoilers upcoming* does anyone know what that little clip at the end says before the true end credits? The one that’s just Japanese words and text
Thanks!
Oh, the still haven’t fixed that? I told PQube about it before the game came out and they promised to patch it. I hope they didn’t forget about it.
Oh you translate for them? That’s so cool! Though, yeah. Unless I’m missing a setting that adds English subs. There’s also an optional movie that’s just Japanese voiceover. It’s the last video in the movie list.
No, I don’t (would be awesome tho xD). I got a review copy of the game, that’s why I could tell PQube about it before release.
Actually hoped they would patch it asap but seems like the patch they released (which doesn’t fix the JP text but some typos/errors) caused a save bug and they had to fix that instead. Not sure how the current situation is though, haven’t played Steins;Gate 0 in a while because I already got 100%.
Review copy is even cooler. Lol. Their translaters are everywhere. There’s even one on youtube, or so they claim. That’s really awesome though.
Yeah, I know when I played it I did see a few typos. But I think they’re working with a pretty small team, so it’s understandable. I’d just like to know what it says, cause it seems important.
Yeah , understandable. Couldn’t find any translation of said scene online, would have given you a link otherwise.
Thanks anyway 🙂 again, very helpful review.
I know it’s been a while but that Japanese part is Okabe’s words from the first game’s intro. Here:
There is no end though there is a start in space. — Infinity.
It has (its) own power, it ruins, and it goes though there is a start also in the star. — Finite.
Only the person who (has) wisdom can read the most foolish one from the history.
The fish that lives in the sea doesn’t know the world in the land. It also ruins and goes if they have wisdom.
It is funnier that man exceeds the speed of light than fish start living in the land.
It can be said that this is (a) final ultimatum from the god to the people who can fight.
Thank you!
how do you get the last trophy on the list?
The ‘read and ignore a message’ trophy? Instead of replying to a RINE message just read it (and ignore it), then play through any of the endings and the trophy should unlock after the credits.
Hmm…would probably be better to add this to the guide. Didn’t think about that.
So when i finish Kurisu ED and then i must start a Mayuri ED where i get that important RINNE message on 12/15 wed ? or is that rinne message when i start kurisu ED on 12/15 wed , i am confused , because i got some Rinne mesagge from Daru when i started kurisu ED and that message doesnt seem importent to me beacuse it was about some school uniform. and i already played Bad end so i cant use that save from 12/15 wed when i am gonna play kurisu ed or mayuri ed?
You’ll receive the message that’s send at the end of Kurisu’s ED in the main route and that happens on 12/15 wed in chapter Closed Epigraph. That’s why you have to use a save from before that happens or the game would think you never got that RINE message and the True ED stays locked. I put that warning in the guide because some people loaded a save somewhere close to Mayuri’s ED and were wondering why they couldn’t get the True ED.
You can use a save from 12/15 if it’s before the important RINE message arrives and it’s not one from Daru or the others. If you played through Kurisu’s ED you should know what it is about. As for the scene it arrives, it should be when Mayuri’s friends say hello to Okabe, shortly after the scene at the shrine.
As I said in the guide if you either start a new game or load an save from or before the scene at the shrine in Closed Epigraph (12/15 wed), there’s nothing to worry about. Just follow the steps on how to reach Mayuri’s ED and the True ED plays right afterwards.
I am having problems doing the final ending – Milky-way Crossing (True ED).
I have done all the other endings.
In your reply to justin you says this..
I got passed Closed Epigraph and Orbital Eclipse. However when I get to Anitomic Dual is where I seem to be having the problem. Kagari / Kurisu is not letting me answer the phone. I click to reply to the message but she just stops me and turns off the phone.
I badly want to get to the true ending.
I have save all the endings although I not done then in the order in the order you have done them. I think the order the order i done them were as follows:
Gehenna’s Stigma (Bad ED)
Vega and Altair (Mayuri ED)
Twin Automata (Maho ED)
The Promised Rinascimento (“Kurisu” ED)
Recursive Mother Goose (Kagari ED)
Any help wil be appricated in getting to see the Milky-way Crossing (True ED) ending.
Thanks
According to your comment you have already seen the Kurisu ED, so I’m not really sure why you quote my comment where I explain how to reach Kurisu’s route/ED.
The way to reach the true end’s written in the guide under ‘ending overview’, so even if I explain it to you it won’t be much different. All I can tell you is:
After playing through ‘The Promised Rinascimento (Kurisu ED)’ either start a new game or use a save from before the scene at the shrine in chapter Closed Epigraph (12/15). Then follow the steps on how to reach the Mayuri ED and the true end happens right afterwards.
Thank you for this guide 🙂
Idk why, but you inspire me to play even more VNs. ❤
You’re welcome!
That’s good to hear~
There are even more awesome VNs coming out in English next year like Dies Irae!
Anyone know where to get tip 100? That’s the only one I’m missing
According to my notes the tip’s called ‘Maiden’s Road’ and you get it in chapter Closed Epigraph, after the phone call on (11/29 Mon) in front of Closefield but before you receive a RINE message from Maho in front of Labo on (12/5 Sun).
Shouldn’t be a missable tip tho hmm…strange…
I think the patch messed up the numbering. I have Maiden’s Road as number 101. Ok, I know where 99 is.
I am really frustrated right now… I have followed your guide to the letter, and yet I cannot for the life of me get onto the “Kurisu” route… The game literally doesn’t let me answer the call right away. I am always forced to wait until Okabe does it on his own, which locks me into the Kagari route… Every time. I even completed hers first despite you not stating you have to, but still — no dice! What the hell am I doing wrong?
Sorry for the late reply.
Hmm…not sure why it doesn’t work for you. I just loaded a save right before the phone call to see if anything changed because of the patch or sth but I can answer it without any problems. The moment the phone starts ringing press L2/R2 + pick answer and it takes you to Kurisu’s route right afterwards.
I ended up figuring it out.
I wasn’t aware that you had to switch between Answer and Hang Up with the D-pad… Every other phone call could be answered or ignored respectfully by pressing either X or O. So I had no clue until I started button-mashing out of frustration, lol.
Thank you for the reply, though. I appreciate it.
Hope you’re still reading this, I’m confused. The guide says I should ignore the 11/29 phonecall from AMADEUS, but Okabe ends up picking up anyway even if I don’t connect myself. (The “It’s Makise” conversation). Sure enough, I don’t get the TIPS. What’s wrong?
I should specify this is on PC with English patch rev8
Not sure if the PC version changed something. It came out much later than the PS4/PS Vita version so it could be the case. I played the PS4 version and got the tips without any problems. I can’t think of anything that could prevent you from getting them, sorry.
Maybe someone else can help with this?
I actually spoke much too soon, it was just a case of them having different numbers. Sorry!
No problem! Sounds like they were rearranged in the PC version or something.
Can someone help me with tip #100?
99. Lobotomy
100. ????
101. Maiden’s Road
Please send help!
I don’t even know what’s wrong with the tips section but could really be a patch issue.
…but even after starting up the game a few days ago with the newest patch and all, the tips are still in the old order for me…I’m confused.
I’ll add a note to the guide tomorrow.
Thanks and Happy New Year!
Added it to the guide now! Happy New Year~
i just finished the game so in the good ending its connect to the ending in steins gate right?
yes, it should be connected to it but I currently don’t have the time to give a detailed answer, sorry. Maybe someone else, who is reading this, can.
Hey, thanks to your guide I was able to complete all of the story. I just have a question about the true end. There were some Japanese characters that weren’t translated on the P.S.4. Since there might be spoilers, feel free to contact me @ tonyz9699@gmail.com directly.
They still haven’t fixed that? orz
Those are Okabe’s words from the Steins;Gate intro. Since I don’t know how to quote comments, I just copied the text/translation someone posted here:
“There is no end though there is a start in space.
It can be said that this is (a) final ultimatum from the god to the people who can fight.”
I’m literally between Vega and Altair and Milky-way crossing but at the ‘Missing Link’ I wasn’t clearly know how to play but didn’t know any buttons that could open the phone so I think it doesn’t matter tbh 0_0
Many thanks for this guide. Just finished true ending.
It turned so complicated, how they came to video instruction for Okabe, how to reach the Steins Gate. In original story it looks like they just stayed at beta world line.
You’re welcome! Yeah, some parts are kinda complicated or feel like they aren’t connecting properly with some other events in the series but I still think Steins;Gate is a very interesting game overall.
Just got the platinum trophy thanks to your guide. Great work! Oh and by the way: I compiled parts of your guide into a flow-chart. Maybe someone finds it useful. http://i.imgur.com/PmCk1ua.png
Sorry, for the late reply. Thank you for the flow-chart! I’ll add the link to my guide mentioning that you created it!
Spasibo! (´• ω •`)
Thank you so so so much for this !!!
I just finished it for the first time (got the “Kurisu” ending) and I really want to see the other ones and this guide is really helpful.
I’ll get to work with getting the rest endings soon.
Once again thank you~ ❤
Don’t forget to open a message and not reply… just wasted 30 minutes of my life after the true ending to unlock this. Open message, don’t reply, reach an ending. Achievement unlocked.
still confused on how to obtain true ending. i finished promised rinascimento, so do i start a new game to get the true ending?
Yup, either start a new game or if you happen to have one use a save from before [Closed Epigraph] (12/15 Wed). Then you only need to play through Mayuri’s route, let the credits run and the true end plays afterwards.
Upon first completing the game, I got the Kurisu ending. Does this make Mayuri’s ending impossible to achieve (since I would get the true ending instead)? Or would I have to complete an ending that wasn’t Kurisu’s between the Kurisu ending and the Mayuri ending that I hope to achieve?
No, it doesn’t make it impossible. The true end plays right after the credits of Mayuri’s end.
Thanks, I managed to figure it out. Still, it’s amazing you keep responding to comments after 7 months. Kudos to you and your dedication (and your amazing guide).
Once again, one of your guides helped me get 100% without spoilers. And what a game it was! Thanks 🙂
you’re welcome!
I just finished all endings in S;G0, but somehow I’m missing tips No. 32 and 108. I didn’t skip anything as I tend to be rather scrupulous in these games (85 hours). I’m attaching screenshots from my S;G 0. http://imgur.com/8WzB8gg Any ideas welcome.
If I remember right, both are future gadget related tips you automatically obtain after reaching an ending. Unfortunately, I don’t know why you don’t have them and if it’s a bug or something.
Yeah, after brief search it seems not only I have this problem. Seems to be a bug of sorts. I guess that I’ll count it as 100% completed then. Not like I wanted the platinum, baka. Thanks for replying – your guide is awesome.
Wow great guide honestly this is the best most complete guide i could find thanks!
thanks for the nice comment!!
Thanks for the guide, managed everything but was missing Tips 99 and 165, but thanks to your guide I managed to get them! 🙂
Is it possible to get Twin automata after triggering the true end flag. I only have maho’s ending pending to do 😦
I’m sorry for the very late reply. It probably doesn’t matter anymore but just start a new game and follow the steps for Maho’s ED. That’s all. Triggering the true end flag doesn’t change anything about the other ending requirements.
Thanks for the guide, real helpful yo’, altho been wondering why didn’t I get the trophy “Message of Oblivion Renvoir” even though I already read and ignored a message a couple of times already
You’re welcome! You earn the trophy after seeing an ending. Just play or skip through a route.
